18 MB download. Rust core, Tauri 2, native objc2 bindings. Renders through the system WKWebView: zero bundled Chromium. Whisper runs Metal + Core ML, encoder on the Apple Neural Engine. Language models run llama.cpp with Metal GPU offload.
The engine reads llama.cpp's own startup logs and confirms model layers actually landed on the GPU. If Metal did not engage, you get a visible warning, not silent CPU mush. Quantization floors at Q4_K_M. Sub-Q4 packs are not offered, period.
